Dr. McIntyre completed her undergraduate degree at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY where she concentrated in photography and pre-medical studies. She continued her medical education at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, IL and was awarded her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006. She completed a dual residency in Emergency Medicine and Family Practice at St James, Olympia Fields, IL through Midwestern University in 2011. Dr. McIntyre is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.
Through her roles as Director of Family Medicine Procedure Labs and Simulation Consultant at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. McIntyre remains at the forefront of medicine. She also welcomes medical students into her practice during their Family Medicine rotations. She takes pride in teaching students and shares in their excitement to learn.
After being employed as a Family Medicine physician by a large corporate medical group for 7 years, Dr. McIntyre decided it was time to open her own practice. She is thrilled to finally be able to give her patients the care they deserve.
Dr. McIntyre’s special interests include mental health, pediatrics, food allergies, women’s health, wellness promotion, health education and Osteopathic Manipulation.
Dr. McIntyre and her husband, Ben, are parents of 2 sons and 3 small dogs. In her spare time, Dr. McIntyre enjoys everything Disney, participating in Cub Scout and school PTO events and spending time with family and friends.
We offer a variety of preventative care services such as annual physical exams, yearly female exams and pap smears, work and school physicals and wellness exams.
We offer care for common illnesses and injuries including upper respiratory infections, influenza, ear infections, sinusitis, strep throat, sprains, strains and many others.
We can help you manage many chronic medical conditions including diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, hypothyroidism, allergies, asthma, anxiety, depression, ADHD and many others.
